- ➤ Flint’s TikTok star Ahmad Alzahabi, known as The Golden Balance, will open his new food stand Golden Boy’s at the downtown Farmers’ Market off East 1st Street in February. He aims to offer tasty local eats and support community growth. MLive
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Genesee Intermediate School District has opened enrollment in its free PreK for All program for nearly 2,200 eligible 4-year-olds for the 2025–26 school year. Families (child must turn 4 by Dec. 1) can register at 591kids.org to help build a strong foundation for future learning. Flint Beat
- ➤ Bentley Community Schools opened the new Bentley Little Bulldog Learning Center — housed in a former McLaren Health site renovated with a $2.9M bond — Friday, Jan. 16 in Burton. The free preschool program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., expanding early learning options for young students. MLive
