GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Genesee County Road Commission crews worked around the clock on Wednesday to clear snow and ice on I-69 + the Irish and M-15 ramps. They plan to keep roads safe today by adding extra salt as temperatures drop. ABC 12
- ➤ A watermain break shut one westbound lane of Bristol Road in Flint Township near I-69 on Wednesday, Jan.21. County officials advised drivers to avoid the area while repairs continued overnight (water discoloration may appear after work). MLive
- ➤ Bristol Road was partially closed on Wednesday, Jan. 21 as crews worked to repair a water main break near the westbound I-69 ramp — water services remained largely unaffected, but residents were advised to avoid the area and run their lines for a few minutes if discoloration occurred. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Flint Community Heroes will host a free cancer town hall from 11 a.m. to noon and a mini clinic from noon to 3 p.m. on Jan. 31 at Flint Development Center (4121 King Ave) to offer early detection resources and health support. MLive
