- ➤ Flint’s Downtown Development Authority warns drivers to expect crowded downtown on Thursday due to fallen officer Charles Redmond’s funeral at First Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m., with visitations on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 12-8 p.m. MLive
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A 123-year-old steam locomotive at Crossroads Village will get a $1.3 million rebuild funded by the Charles Stewart Mott grant given to Genesee County Parks & Recreation Commission. The restoration work will take two to three years and will update its boiler tubes and perform minor boiler repairs. MLive
