- ➤ On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Shelter of Flint held its annual fundraiser and raised over $40,000 to support shelter services for homeless residents during harsh winter weather. The event surpassed its goal+ providing vital funds for housing relief. Mid-Michigan Now
- ➤ Flint residents can attend the 17th Community Needs Fair on Saturday, Mar. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library — 1026 E. - ➤ The Flint Institute of Music ratified a new bargaining agreement with AFM Local 542 in February for Flint Symphony musicians, who continued performing under the old terms during negotiations. The contract raises pay and improves working conditions to secure the orchestra's long-term success. MLive
