- ➤ Goodwill Industries of Mid Michigan will open its expanded Burton retail store & donation center in a former Art Van Furniture building at 4095 E. Court St. on April 10, offering a drive-up donation door & exclusive swag bags for the first 25 shoppers in line at 8:45 a.m. ABC 12
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A study shows U.S. adult literacy dropped from 19% scoring basic in 2017 to 28% in 2023, with about one in three Flint adults struggling to read. The Flint and Genesee Literacy Network offers tutoring programs to help residents improve skills & overcome challenges linked to poverty. Mid-Michigan Now

- ➤ Dort Highway in Flint and Grand Blanc Township shows many potholes and temporary fixes, raising concerns for a new fire station set to open in April.
