- ➤ Moms & Women in Business Genesee County hosted a networking event in Flint on March 9 to connect local entrepreneurs. Attendees shared business insights and built support networks at the gathering. ABC 12
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Step Afrika! will perform at FIM Whiting Auditorium soon in Flint as announced on Mar. 9. Tickets can be purchased online for this upcoming cultural event. ABC 12

ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Heavy rain over the weekend forced Flint’s wastewater system to discharge sewage and stormwater into the Flint River from Saturday morning to Sunday evening as it reached capacity. City officials (via Genesee County Health Department) say guidelines were met and advise residents to avoid downstream contact. Mid-Michigan Now
