A 25-year-old man was fatally stabbed Friday evening at a Flint McDonald’s, and a 53-year-old man was arrested for his alleged role in the altercation that began around 5:40 p.m. on March 14 on S.
Dort Highway—state police continue to investigate the homicide.

Communities First, Inc held the second annual GatHERing on Saturday, bringing together a diverse group of women from Genesee County to attend panels, breakout sessions, and share themed mocktails and lunch during Women’s History Month.
Essence Wilson, co-founder of the event, said she looks forward to expanding the gathering in year three and beyond—promising more chances for self care and networking.
