CRIME NEWS

  • Flint police are asking for help finding two missing persons—Aviana Early, a 16-year-old girl last seen at her home on the 1100 block of Crawford Street on March 3, and Keith Dolehanty, a 54-year-old man last seen leaving the 3700 block of Dolphaine Lane on Feb. 24—and ask anyone with information to call Officer Perry or Officer Frye referencing complaint numbers 25-900187 and 25-900189.  MLive
  • An employee discovered a racially themed flyer on a gas pump at Conlee Travel Center in Clio (March 19th) and police said they will investigate any complaints (referring them to Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office) if necessary.  MLive
  • Flint Police are asking the public for help to locate 16-year-old Aviana Early (Avi), who was last seen at her home on Crawford Street on March 3. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or contact the police.  ABC 12

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Candidate Beverly Biggs-Leavy asked voters to re-elect her for the Flint City Council even though she had never held the 3rd Ward seat and was not seated after a recall vote was voided. Two other candidates said her billboard claim is misleading — state law forbids advertising as an incumbent if you have not held office.  MLive
