  • Grand Blanc United Methodist is hosting 'Trunk or TrEaster' today (4 to 6 p.m.). The event will bring community members together for an Easter celebration.  ABC 12

CULTURE NEWS

  • Flint Rep and UM-Flint present Lucky Stiff, a musical farce running through April 4 at UM-Flint Theatre on 327 E. Kearsley St, uniting professional actors and students in a fresh co-production that expands local training opportunities.  MLive
  • Buckham Gallery invites US artists aged 18+ to submit works for the juried 'Homeward' exhibition at 121 W. Second St — running July 10 through Aug. 14. Submissions are open until May 2 and selected artists will get a $50 shipping stipend for delivery from June 12 to 19.  Flint Beat
  • The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be at Bluebell Beach from July 30 to Aug. 2. The exhibit will honor veterans and celebrate local history in Genesee County.  ABC 12

  • Matrix Expedited Service said diesel prices topping $5 per gallon today in Flint have increased monthly fuel costs by about $4,000 per truck — small, family-owned operators may struggle if prices keep rising.  Mid-Michigan Now
