Good morning, Flint.

MLive coverage of Ramadan in Flint showed community prayer at the Flint Islamic Center on March 8th—volunteers set tables for families breaking their fast, while a Genesee County Jail inmate embraced Islam and a local journalist shared personal reflections on the fast.

As Ramadan ends and Muslims prepare for Eid al-Fitr, the stories capture a month of community connection and spiritual growth.

A severe thunderstorm hit Genesee County today, toppling trees and power lines in Burton — emergency crews are assessing damage across the area.
