- ➤ Tenants at a Flint apartment complex at 1001 N. Saginaw St face living challenges after heavy rain caused a ceiling collapse and flooding that led a city inspector to warn against residing there. Property management said repairs are underway to restore safe living conditions. Mid-Michigan Now
- ➤ Grace Emmanuel Baptist Church in Flint received a $20,000 grant to launch the Pathways to Work shuttle service for NorthGate employees facing transportation challenges. The program will offer fixed-route shuttles, employer vanpools, and an emergency ride guarantee. ABC 12
- ➤ The Longway Planetarium is hosting its seventh annual Mix & Mingle Under the Stars fundraiser on Wednesday, Apr. 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Guests aged 21 and older can enjoy local food, drinks and a silent auction that supports youth education programs. Flint Beat

- ➤ Flint officials announced the yard waste collection season starts Monday through Nov. 30 so residents may set out grass clippings and leaves on their regular pickup day. Free yard waste bags are limited at City Hall, Mays Senior and Community Center + McKinley Community Center. ABC 12
