  • Flint Community Schools clarified they are not losing $15.6 million in federal COVID funds as they work with the state education department, and local developers in Davison began renovations on the former Senor Lucky’s building to open a new bar and grill by August. A lawsuit was filed against Flint Township police over alleged excessive force and the police chief asked for higher wages—news that comes as the community also honored former council member Floyd Clack (84) and leased an old elementary school to local nonprofits.  MLive

  • Michigan State Police are hosting a Troopers Bleed Blue blood drive today at the Dort Financial Center on Lapeer Road in Flint from 2 to 7 p.m.—community members can help save lives by donating blood.  ABC 12
