- ➤ Custom Air Handling Solutions and Fluid Cooling Systems announced plans to invest nearly $8 million to expand in Burton; Custom Air Handling Solutions will add nearly 70 jobs by purchasing a 50,000 square foot building and Fluid Cooling Systems will upgrade its headquarters with over $2.5 million to create 82 jobs. The expansions will offer starting wages of $25 and $22 per hour respectively. ABC 12

- ➤ A second murder trial began Wednesday for 25-year-old Marquon Jackson—accused of shooting 42-year-old Mozzaffer Khogaly on March 15, 2022 at a Sunoco on Ballenger Highway in Flint after his earlier trial ended in a mistrial. ABC 12
- ➤ On March 22 at 12:15 a.m. in Fenton, a black sedan hit a motorcyclist who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries—Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County offered up to $1,000 for information leading to a felony arrest. MLive

- ➤ Two HVAC companies announced plans on April 17 to invest nearly $7.8 million in Burton facilities to create 150 new jobs. Custom Air Handling Solutions will purchase a 50,000 square-foot building and Fluid Cooling Systems will upgrade its facility using state grants—both projects aim to grow the local HVAC industry. - ➤ Flint's Small Business Rescue Fund has launched to help local storefront businesses recover from COVID impacts using ARPA dollars.
