- ➤ The nearly 50-year-old Crossbow Inn Restaurant in Grand Blanc closed its doors last night to begin a major remodel that will involve demolition and rebuilding, and the owners thanked regular customers for decades of support. No completion date has been announced. ABC 12

- ➤ On June 5-7, the Mott Foundation will host Family Fun Days at the Flint Cultural Center for its centennial celebration. The free event offers live performances, hands-on art and science activities, a community lunch + a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for local residents. Flint Beat

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Buena Vista Township received a $1.4 million grant from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority to fund $472,000 in home repairs and $942,800 for building 10 government-owned mobile homes. Residents who applied will be notified soon and may attend a meeting today at the township hall on E. Holland Road. ABC 12
- ➤ The Genesee County Road Commission will close McKinley Road between Wilson Road and Vienna Road on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for asphalt work over a cross culvert; motorists are urged to use alternate routes. MLive
- ➤ Motorists along Perry Road should expect delays as construction resumes on a non-motorized pathway project in Atlas Township on Tuesday, May 5. Flaggers will manage traffic between Mancour Drive and Grand Blanc East Middle School, while work in front of the school begins after summer. MLive
