- ➤ Studio 42 Tattoo on Pierson Road held a charity tattoo event on Sunday to support the Mt. Morris Township Fire Department in honor of National Firefighters Day and Star Wars Day—60 percent of the tattoo sales went to the fire department. Five tattoo artists volunteered from noon to 9 p.m. and firefighter Donny Morrison said the funds will help secure better tools for the community. ABC 12

- ➤ Flint’s Arab American Heritage Council is partnering with the Arab American National Museum to host a free screening of the documentary 'Khartoum' at Comma Bookstore and Social Hub on May 8. The screening—part of the museum’s 20th annual Arab Film Festival—will include a discussion led by AAHC staff and offer light refreshments. Flint Beat
