  • Genesee County residents gathered at McFarlan Veterans Memorial Park on Memorial Day to honor those who sacrificed their lives in service to the nation. Speeches and Taps emphasized the community’s commitment to remembering their legacy.  ABC 12
  • A Flint resident said that ongoing trash dumping at Sunset Village Apartments is causing unsafe and unhealthy living conditions - including blocked driveways and rodent problems - and she has contacted the city and property owner without receiving help.  ABC 12
  • An annual fundraiser for young expecting mothers is underway at the Pregnancy Resource Center of Flint located at 3404 S. Saginaw Street. The event invites community donations through filling baby bottles with spare change and runs through Father's Day.  Mid-Michigan Now
  • Flint Style Soccer marks 10 years of free youth soccer with a community event today at Mott Park Clubhouse at 6:50 p.m. Families + volunteers will join for cake, candles and a brief program celebrating its decade-long impact.  MLive
