- ➤ Swartz Creek's Hometown Days festival, which started Thursday, offers inclusive family fun with carnival rides, games, a mobile petting zoo, silent auctions and a car show. - ➤ A 7-year-old boy organized a lemonade stand at Zerka's in Burton today to help a local veteran pay his utility bill while he recovers from surgery and remains out of work for four months. Community members stopped by and bought lemonade ($2 each) in support of his neighbor. ABC 12

- ➤ Clean Express Auto Wash held its grand opening at 4515 Corunna Road on Friday, May 29 and offered free Ceramic 4 Ultra washes until June 7. - ➤ University of Michigan-Flint held Data Science Day yesterday to give students hands-on STEM experiences in artificial intelligence + robotics while teachers and local leaders hosted a conference on improving STEM education. Mid-Michigan Now
- ➤ Grand Blanc Community Schools held their graduation on Thursday, May 28, where graduates shared thanks for teachers, families, and community bonds (including a Sept. 28 challenge) as they looked ahead to new beginnings. MLive
