  • Flint-area news shows Crumbl Cookies will open a new location in Davison Township on Friday, July 18 with a festive grand opening, while a 20-year-old Flint man faces murder and weapons charges for a fatal shooting at a local barbershop—additional updates include a controversy over Flint’s ARPA committee, a new ride service for medical appointments and city officials planning to crack down on drag racing and reckless driving.  MLive
  • The Carriage Town Historic Neighborhood Association will host its Sixth Annual Carriage Town Porchfest from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 18 in the historic Carriage Town neighborhood on West First Avenue and Mason Street—local musicians will perform on porches while food trucks and vendors serve guests in this free event.  MLive
