Michigan State Police said that a drive-by shooting on June 29 near Dana Lane on Flint's north side left a 27-year-old man critically injured who died a few days later & no one is in custody.

Flint police arrested a community member after he was removed from a City Council finance committee meeting at City Hall on June 18, as the session devolved into personal attacks that halted city business.

Three Flint City Council members called for Leon El-Alamin to resign after his arrest on charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and domestic violence.

Sandisk has canceled its plan to build a semiconductor factory at the advanced manufacturing site in Mundy Township due to economic uncertainty—rising tariffs and supply issues influenced the decision.
