- ➤ First Ward Flint City Councilman Leon El-Alamin was arraigned in the 67th district court after his arrest by Mt. Morris Township Police for an alleged felony assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and a misdemeanor count of domestic violence; his bond was set at $7,500 and he is ordered not to contact the victim, use drugs or alcohol, or possess any weapon—he will return to court on July 24.
