- ➤ Robert and Ja Miller opened Royal Thai Kitchen in Clio in mid-April after ending their food truck operations—aiming for a year-round business. The restaurant serves authentic Thai dishes that are mild by default but can be spiced on request and is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday for dinner only. MLive
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ On Aug. 16, thousands of car fans filled downtown Flint to end the 21st annual Back to the Bricks car show and to see a new statue honoring A.B.C. Hardy—one of the men who built Flint’s first car. Local officials and enthusiasts celebrated the city’s automotive heritage during the event. MLive
- ➤ Classic cars filled Saginaw St. during last Saturday's Back to the Bricks 2025 show—food trucks, vendors, and a Corvette Reunion drew large crowds. - ➤ Roy Jackson Jr. hosted the Dreamz Two Reality Basketball Camp today at Hamady High School from noon to 3 p.m.—about 50 to 60 local children sharpened their basketball skills and received free medals, school supplies, and food in preparation for returning to class. ABC 12
