  • An 18-year-old suspect in the fatal Beecher area shooting on June 25 was arrested in Lima, Ohio by U.S. Marshals, following a violent altercation that resulted in one teenager dead and another injured.  ABC 12

  • The United Way of Genesee County has donated $10,000 to the Center for Civil Justice to support the Health Eligibility Law Project, enhancing the Medicaid and MIChild helpline to address insurance disparities among minority and non-English speaking populations in Michigan.  Mid-Michigan Now
