- ➤ Applications are now open for the second annual Two Lane Fast Pitch Competition in Genesee County—small businesses with 10 or fewer employees can pitch ideas to win $5,000 or $10,000 and get support to grow. Applicants must submit a business plan, incorporation papers, and proof of good standing before attending a training on October 16 and pitching on October 21. MLive

- ➤ The Glen Kelly Sports Field at the Haskell Community Center officially opened on Saturday, September 20th during a naming ceremony that honored the late Coach Kelly and unveiled his memorial.
