HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kaden Stevenson, a fourth grader from Grand Blanc, lost his legs to a severe flu infection and now stars as superhero Kaden Blaze in a new comic book—teaching others about flu prevention. - ➤ Experts from University of Michigan Flint said Lyme disease cases increased by 168% statewide while Genesee County cases tripled since early in the year — signs of warmer weather and higher deer populations. Residents are advised to check for ticks after outdoor activities — using DEET-based repellent to lower their risk. ABC 12
