- ➤ Richfield Church of the Nazarene finished a meal-packing event from October 9 to 11, packing over 300,000 meals for children facing hunger. The packed meals will be shipped overseas to areas with high food insecurity — a step to support families in need. ABC 12
- ➤ Hundreds of community members gathered in Grand Blanc to honor the four victims of a church shooting and arson attack that took place on Sept 28—vigil celebrations on Oct 7 reinforced local resolve. A Flint workforce nonprofit opened its new 8,300-square-foot facility on the north side on Oct 8 to expand social enterprise programs that currently employ over 20 residents. MLive
