CRIME NEWS

  • A Flint man was sentenced to nearly five years in prison for illegally possessing and distributing over 200 machine gun conversion kits.  ABC 12
  • Flint Township Police are investigating a shooting at the Family Dollar on Flushing Road.  Mid-Michigan Now
  • Eduard Markman, 55, has been arraigned in Flint Township on charges including assault with intent to murder and torture after being accused of stabbing a relative.  MLive

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Blue Wall Bus Tour, supporting the Harris-Walz campaign, visited Flint, Michigan with Governor Whitmer and other Midwest Governors to engage voters during the final weeks of the campaign.  Mid-Michigan Now
  • The National Federation of the Blind in Flint, Michigan, hosted a training event to ensure visually impaired individuals have the means to vote independently on Nov. 5.  ABC 12
  • The EPA has filed a motion in federal court to dismiss claims holding it responsible for the Flint Water Crisis, asserting it did not make decisions regarding the water source change or corrosion control.  ABC 12
