- ➤ Genwell United of Flint hosted its GiveWEL Harvest Fest Saturday afternoon at Hallwood Plaza on Clio Road to feed families and help them prepare for colder weather; volunteers distributed fruit, canned goods, and other essentials as temperatures fell. ABC 12

- ➤ Genesee Health System is hosting a job fair at 1040 W. Bristol Road from noon to 3 p.m. on Friday, November 14. Candidates can interview for several health care roles — including outpatient therapist, medical clerks, and direct care worker. MLive
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Carol Spooner, a 72-year-old Flint resident, received the missed SNAP benefits last week although her payment was reduced from $486 to $418. An emergency order from the U.S. Supreme Court halted the full issuance of November benefits—forcing states to issue only 65% of the allotments until the matter is resolved. ABC 12
