Here's your local news at a glance for Monday, the 1st of December.
Good morning, Flint.
🏘️ Community
Flint has celebrated its free Holiday Walk at the Flint Cultural Center for 40 years.
The event returns tomorrow from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.—it features a tree lighting, live music, crafts, holiday shows, seasonal treats, and a chance to donate to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Heavy snowfall on Saturday caused icy roads that kept many parishioners from attending Christ the King Catholic Church’s Sunday service in Flint, though some still made the drive.
The church offered an online mass option for those unable to travel — a measure that helped the community adapt to severe winter weather.
