- ➤ Flint Central High School alumni hosted a donation drive at Luigi's Restaurant on Sunday to support the Shelter of Flint as plans for a new school at the former high school site progress. The group will hold a popcorn drive fundraiser in January to collect additional donations for the season. ABC 12
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A damaged railroad forced closure of West 12th Street and Van Slyke Road until early next week as Canadian National replaces parts to complete repairs (a detour is posted). MLive
- ➤ Flint has closed the crossing at 12th St. and Van Slyke Rd due to damaged train tracks + replacement parts have been ordered with repairs scheduled for early next week, so drivers must use posted detours. Mid-Michigan Now
