- ➤ Flint Firebirds donated over 1,800 stuffed animals to cheer kids at Hurley Medical Center on Tuesday, Dec. 16. They will also drop off more toys at local centers (Ennis Center for Children, YWCA, Whaley Children's Center, and Voices for Children) later this week. Mid-Michigan Now
- ➤ The Salvation Army held its annual Christmastown event in downtown Flint on Tuesday, Dec. 16, where 617 families picked toys, pajamas, coats, and food boxes to help more than 1,500 kids celebrate the holiday season + organizers provided essential support for families in need. Mid-Michigan Now
- ➤ Flint Police and the St. Francis Prayer Center delivered beds, dressers, and more to families in need in Flint — an outreach that brought essential furniture to local households. The joint effort helped provide critical support to those facing difficult times. Mid-Michigan Now

- ➤ A local doctor warned that cold and dry air is worsening breathing struggles for asthma patients, advising them to maintain indoor humidity between 30%+50% for relief. ABC 12
