Good morning, Flint.

On Saturday, the Sloan Museum of Discovery hosted its first-ever Behind the Panels event for adults and featured vendors showcasing comic books, action figures, video games and other nostalgic items—ticket prices were $5 for Genesee County residents and $15 for out-of-county guests while visitors had access to the Hall of Heroes exhibit.

Today, the Genesee County Road Commission closed the section of Belsay Road between Richfield Road and Shamrock Lane for a reconstruction project + road diet that will convert it to a three-lane design.

A detour via Richfield Road to Irish Road to Coldwater Road will help drivers, though they should allow extra travel time + the project is expected to finish by the end of August.
